Emma

What are your thoughts about a thread about:

Twitter friends (linking up friends that are members with nras) and having banter, also encouraging all ages to enjoy the social media and another way of keeping them in the loop with ra/arthritis findings?

Also fun websites/free downloads to recommend - for example free game on ipad bubble mania

What do you all think?

And facebook contacts (I don't do fb, handy for some)

Hi Jane,
Another excellent idea! How about if I call it social media/website and then at the top I'll post all of NRAS's Twitter accounts and Facebook links. Then, Members can post underneath their own Twitter/Facebook links if they are ok with other Members finding them online. I'd be slightly wary of promoting any free downloads etc but any useful websites people find, useful articles etc I'm sure are fine.

On Twitter our PR officer Andrew tweets most of the important news stories relating to RA and the latest NRAS news can be found on both the NRAS Twitter and Facebook accounts. The more interation between Members and also Members & NRAS we have the better! I'll set it up later today.

If you have any other ideas do let me know! emmas@nras.org.uk

Thanks, Emma

BigGrin ThumpUp Hi Emma

Love your reply!
Yes fantastic idea - having NRAS/members/each other coming together in various social medias!ThumpUp

I follow a fair few NRAS & members......
Did a good deed the other day - I dm with 2 people with ra - Jenni was one to pu them onto following Rich and his posts on twitter.

I don't want people to feel alone with ra - let's come together! Love LOL

Of course the forum is good for longer threads.

have a lovely day!
Jane
